David Yurman x TJEF Pro Bono Legal Clinic, June 26, 2025

David Yurman and The Jewelry Edit Foundation came together to host a Pro Bono Legal Clinic with the intention to give designers the tools they need to protect their creations and design with confidence.

Led by David Yurman’s General Counsel David Eshmoili, attendees learned the basics of intellectual property, clauses to include in contracts based on business needs, and the importance of thoughtful language throughout these decisions. Designers also had the opportunity to receive one-on-one assistance from the Yurman legal team, regarding their specific legal concerns, upholding David Yurman’s longstanding commitment to lifting up emerging artists.

In an era where designers often face difficulties accessing legal information for their businesses, the event served as an afternoon where a community of designers and thinkers collaborated to learn, foster mutual support and inspire confidence.
